HOW THE MODULE CAN BE USED BY A LEARNER

Since we strongly believe that we provide resources that are modular and pedagogically neutral, we have not created rigid lesson plans or users’ guides.  We do have important links for FAQs, search, site index, and first-time visitors.  The modules are given in an order in which a typical Numerical Method course would be taught.  Within each module, we enumerate the pre-requisites (with links for primers) and the objectives.

The user can choose to first read the textbook chapter or watch the digital audiovisual lecture videos.  The user can then take a multiple-choice test to assess his/her understanding of the module.  At this point, if the user seeks more instruction, he/she can use worksheets that have been written in four different computational software packages, conduct a Wolfram simulation (not available for all modules), or/and work through additional examples from the other engineering majors.

The user can again take the multiple-choice test, and if desired, view the complete solution of the test.  The link to the complete solution is given at the bottom of the HTML link of taking  the multiple-choice test.
